McLaren Vale

A high-value region for mid- to premium-tier Shiraz.


Core Grape Varieties:

· Shiraz-flagship variety, full-bodied with elegance

· Grenache-strong old-vine presence

· Cabernet Sauvignon

· Also well suited to Mediterranean varieties: Tempranillo / Sangiovese / Fiano / Vermentino

Climate:

· Mediterranean climate with cooling sea breezes, ensuring consistent ripening and rounded styles.

Soils:

· Highly diverse (over 40+ soil types)

· Including sand, clay, ironstone, and limestone → contributing complexity and subregional character

Viticulture & Management Advantages:

· High ripeness levels with stable sugar–acid balance

· Relatively low disease pressure

· High proportion of old vines, with widespread organic and sustainable practices



Barossa Valley

A world-class iconic region for premium, powerful styles.


Core Grape Varieties:

· Shiraz

· Mataro(Mourvèdre)

· Semillon(old-vine, dry style )

Climate:

· Warm conditions → concentrated fruit, full-bodied structure, and ripe tannins

Soils:

· Red soils, sandy loam, with clay foundations → contributing structure and intensity

Viticulture & Management Advantages:

· One of the world’s largest concentrations of old vines, including vines over 100 years old

· Near “zero-risk” ripening with strong vintage consistency

· Highly consistent styles, well suited to standardisation and quality control



Limestone Coast

One of Australia’s most representative Cabernet Sauvignon regions.


Core Grape Varieties:

· Cabernet Sauvignon-world renowned, particularly from Coonawarra

· Shiraz

· Chardonnay

· Sauvignon Blanc

Climate: 

· Cool to cool-moderate conditions → refined aromatics and tight structural profiles

Soils:

· Iconic Terra Rossa soils over limestone → excellent drainage, deep root penetration, and pronounced mineral and structural expression

Viticulture & Management Advantages:

· Extended ripening periods delivering finer tannins and elegant styles

· Strong acid retention with outstanding ageing potential

· Lower disease pressure compared to warmer regions



Langhorne Creek

Reliable quality with strong cost efficiency|A strategic supply region.


Core Grape Varieties:

· Cabernet Sauvignon – highly consistent quality with strong value

· Shiraz

· Malbec – particularly strong performance in this region

· Blends – an important source for Australian blended wines

Climate: 

· Warm conditions moderated by lakes and sea breezes → reliable ripening without excessive heat

Soils:

· Deep alluvial soils with limestone components → high yield potential with consistent quality

· Very stable ripening

· An ideal balance between volume and quality

· High levels of mechanisation and operational efficiency
