Winery 一 Limestone Coast Winery
Core Production Hub for CWG’s Cool-Climate and Structured Styles
Regional & Sourcing Advantages:
Limestone Coast is one of South Australia’s most representative cool-climate regions, encompassing sub-regions such as Coonawarra, Padthaway, Wrattonbully, and Mount Benson. Influenced by the cool Southern Ocean climate and coastal breezes, the region benefits from longer, more even ripening cycles that support clear structural definition and aromatic complexity. Limestone and limestone-derived soils provide excellent drainage and mineral support, contributing to consistent fruit quality and layered flavour expression.
Production & Scale Capability:
Limestone Coast Winery is CWG’s key production platform in the region, integrating premium fruit from multiple sub-regions.
Built on modern winemaking techniques and refined production management, the facility enables efficient, scalable production of cool-climate wines while maintaining stable quality, ensuring reliable long-term supply for global markets.
Style & Market Positioning:
Wines from this region are defined by cool-climate ripening, strong acid structure, and precise flavour expression. Structured red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, along with other cool-climate styles produced at this site, have built a long-standing reputation and strong competitiveness in international markets.
